ECHO’s Open Door Access Program is an initiative to make science learning accessible to everyone in our community, no matter their background or financial status. To achieve our goal, we partner with nonprofit organizations across Vermont to offer memberships and discounted admission vouchers to community members. We are currently partnered with more than 65 social service partners to provide 33,000+ free or significantly reduced admission recipients and 3,000 complimentary memberships.

Donors make these programs possible:

  • Social Service Agency Day Pass: ECHO coordinates with over 65 social service agencies in Vermont to provide $2 admission and free memberships to their constituents.
  • Library Day Pass: Over 600 libraries participate in the discounted day pass for entrance to ECHO. The library pass allows a group of up to four people to visit ECHO for the reduced rate of $7 per person. Ask your local librarian for more information.
  • You Give, We Give: Every time a new or renewed ECHO membership is purchased around the holiday season, ECHO donates a matching membership to a Vermont family in need. Please visit our membership page to learn more.
  • MENTOR Vermont Day Pass: MENTOR Vermont mentors and mentees receive $2 admission to ECHO with their MENTOR Vermont Discount Card.

Museums for All: ECHO is a proud partner of Museums for All – an initiative of the Institute of Museum and Library Services. We offer a reduced admission fee of $2 per person for individuals & families receiving EBT or WIC benefits.
